Laser Hair Removal
The laser we use is the Lumenis Light Sheer XC Laser 810 Diode. The Lumenis LightSheer is safe to use on the face for removing hair on the lip, chin, sideburns, and brows. The laser only removes hair that has pigment, so if you have blonde or white hair that you want permanently removed, we will recommend you to our partners that do electrolysis. If you have a mixture of brown and blonde, we recommend doing a few laser treatments first to get rid of the darker hairs. Then doing electrolysis for the blonde or white ones.
LASER TIPS:
- SHAVE for your laser sessions. Shave what you can and we will shave what you cannot reach.
- SHOWER – make sure the area is clean.
- Avoid TANNING. The more tan you are and the more recent it is, the more likely you are to get burned from the laser. The more contrast of color between your skin and your hair the better and faster results you can get. So get your skin as light as possible and you will require less treatments and be safer from burns. THIS INCLUDES SPRAY TANNING.
- A good place to start is with 6 treatments. After 6-9 treatments the majority of the hair is gone, if you really want ALL of the hair gone, you may require more treatments.
